Miji asked:

To avoid extra fat and calories when flavoring my foods, I try to use herbs and spices instead of sauces, gravies, etc. I’m looking for new ideas, that are quick and easy to prepare for chicken and pasta. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Actually whole wheat pasta is all I eat, and the brand I purchase is delicious. No taste loss at all. :)

Marinate your chicken overnight in Light or Fat Free Italian dressing. Season with fresh ground pepper and salt if needed. Broil or bake or grill. A simple pasta dish is made with angel hair pasta, fresh basil, sliced tomatoes, and shaved parmesan. Toss with a little olive oil and season to taste with fresh ground pepper and kosher salt. Enjoy!

anything with pasta is going to be fattening just becuase it’s pasta. you can get like whole wheat pasta (i think that’s what it’s called) but it’s a huge taste loss!
